Board and Council at the University Academy

 

At the University Academy there are two constituencies:  

 

1. The Board of the Assembly, composed of members appointed for four years:   [1]

· Pierre Choisel          [2]

President - academic and international relations, and University Academy governance.  

· Khadija Al Wahid      [3]   

Vice-president - goodwill interventions in emerging organisations and low income countries.  

· Roberta Antonioni     [3]

Vice-president - governmental and corporate relations (previously ENSIGN Integration Project Director).  

· Jean-Pierre Bal         [4]

Vice-president - academic  relations with the Thierry Graduate School of Leadership.  

· Keiko Nakamura       [3]

Vice-president - supranational organisations relations and intercontinental cooperation

· Carl Schneider         [2]

Vice-president - accreditation custody services for third-party institutions.

· Eleanor Pendergrass [5]

Secretary of the Board, consular and legal matters, and coordination of the international desk offices.

 

2. The Council, composed of eight senior academic professionals who are appointed faculty-members by their home-institutions worldwide. The Council-members represent most fields of study in higher education. A special "consortium" group represents each field. There are presently sixty-one experts in the various field-panels, including the  accreditation surveyors and custodians (see also: ENSIGN) .
