The Brexgata Emblem

The Brexgata emblem was adopted in the year 2000. It is of ancient Western-European origin, more precisely from the Celtic culture, and expresses the concepts of hope and rebirth

Similar maze-patterns and colours are found in the architectural, artistic, or traditional decorations of many cultures. The emblem expresses the legacies that the civilisations of today, and around the world, inherit from their pasts.

By means of this spiritual interweaving of cultural heritages the Brexgata emblem communicates the University Academy's hope for the strengthening of "the deep values that individuals and peoples around the world actually hold in common, or share, even though cultures and nations as a whole differ from one another"[1]
